Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Incorporated at the national or provincial level; or be a Canadian resident sole proprietor.

  • Privately-owned for-profit entity.

  • Maximum 499 full-time equivalent employees

  • At least $500,00 and not more than $100 million in revenue in one (1) of the past three (3) tax years.

DCC is Ontario’s knowledge centre focused on driving modernization of Ontario SMEs.

Program streams

Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP)

The Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP) program supports Ontario SMEs to better understand their organization’s technology needs, guide their digital transformation decision-making, and optimize their technology investments. Eligible SMEs receive a maximum of 50% of costs covered by OCI or up to $15,000 in reimbursement funds to develop a digital adoption plan.

Best Suited For:

  • SMEs looking to understand their digital needs
  • Ontario-based for-profit SMEs with between 1-499 employees

Technology Demonstration Program

This Program supports Ontario SMEs that have completed a DMAP project to adopt and implement the digital technology identified in DMAP. Eligible SMEs receive a maximum of 50% of costs covered by OCI or up to $150,000 in reimbursement funds.

Best Suited For:

  • SMEs who have completed a DMAP project and looking to adopt and implement the digital technology
  • Ontario-based for-profit SMEs with between 1-499 employees
  • SMEs with at least $500,000 of annual revenue in one of the last three (3) tax years
